Writing Our Growth Story Through Weekend Closed-Loop Learning

Dear teachers and students, good morning!

When the IG and A-Level exam results came in, we witnessed the most brilliant report card in Yinghua’s 9-year history. Behind this achievement lies countless days and nights of focused effort, and it stands as a vivid proof that "genuine growth comes from effective use of time." Today, as we stand at a new starting point, we can’t help but ask: As ordinary students, how can we make the path to self-achievement clearer and more solid? The answer lies in the weekend closed-loop learning program we are launching.

Dear students, why is the school going to such great lengths to assemble key teachers from every subject to create this weekend learning platform for us? Because we deeply understand that growth is never a passive process of "going with the flow," but an active journey of "targeted breakthroughs" based on our individual needs.

Imagine when studying at home on weekends, have we ever faced these frustrations? A math problem stumps us for half an hour with no one to ask; a grammar gap keeps growing but we don’t know how to fix it; we want to focus on reviewing but get distracted by phone notifications or a noisy environment. Now, the "closed-loop learning program" the school has built for us is here to break through these limitations.

Here， we’ll have a "personalized growth path" and "targeted question-solving support." During self-study time, we can plan our schedule freely, focusing energy on the weak areas that need the most work. In the Q&A sessions, key teachers from each subject will be on standby at fixed locations, ready to "unpack" every question we have on the spot. For one-to-one guidance, teachers will create customized plans based on our homework, test results, and feedback—so we can "strengthen weaknesses and push strengths even higher." This isn’t passive following of a unified pace; it’s active growth through precise effort.

Here, we’ll have an "immersive learning environment." Quiet classrooms, ample lighting, air-conditioned comfort, and ready access to textbooks, dictionaries, and other resources. Staff maintain order so we can fully focus. Most importantly, we’ll be surrounded by equally dedicated classmates and supported by teachers who are always available. Weekends will no longer be a time of lonely confusion but of efficient progress "moving forward together." Every minute invested will translate into knowledge accumulation and ability improvement.

Here, we’ll also have "visible support for growth." The teachers involved in the weekend program are experienced key educators familiar with international curricula—they understand exam focuses and our learning pain points. The school’s safe and comfortable environment, along with the check-in and check-out system, let us study with peace of mind, while parents can track our progress through regular updates. This isn’t self-consumption through "lonely struggle," but steady advancement with "professional support."

Students, "ordinary" is never a label for self-limitation—it’s a starting point for "sustained effort." The seniors and classmates who achieved excellent exam results aren’t born "A* students"; they’re pursuers of growth who know how to invest continuously at the right time and in the right way.

Now, the school has paved this path of "trading time for results". Every weekend we come to school, we’re "filling gaps" in our knowledge; every question we ask a teacher is "breaking the ice" of our thinking bottlenecks; every period of focused self-study is "building momentum" for future breakthroughs.

同学们，为什么学校要花这么大的力气，抽调各学科骨干教师，为大家打造这样的周末学习平台？因为我们深知：成长从来不是 “随波逐流” 的被动接受，而是 “主动规划” 的精准突破和自我需求。
